Summary
As the Eastern U.S. braces for an unprecedented winter storm, we will maintain status quo for a few more days under a ridge of high pressure. The wait will be over this weekend, with a dose of new snow and plenty more on the way next week. I think the best chance of snow will be next Thursday, especially in the Idaho Panhandle.
