Slowly But Surely
Summary
It's a Saturday morning shuffle today, getting a slow-but-sure start. That pretty much characterizes our winter snowpack this year. Yes, we're still on track for more snow, but it's been painfully slow getting here. Forecasters and snow ski/board bums alike have been discouraged, but there is hope in store. As I'll describe below, the weather pattern will take on a different edge this week, and the little storm that moved through last night was just a crumb of the steady diet of snow we will get in the coming weeks. All thanks to La Nina.
