Monday Refresh
Update
The beautiful weather continues on Saturday and Sunday. Mid-mountain temps will be in the mid-to-upper 30s under mostly sunny skies on Saturday, followed by increased cloud coverage and daytime highs in the low 30s on Sunday.
Our next weather-maker will then slide into the Tetons from the northwest by late Sunday and into early Monday morning. Not an overly impressive storm but strong winds and a quick dive in temps will really make it feel like one. Light to moderate snowfall will then continue through Monday afternoon, with an outside chance for quick bands of very heavy snow.
In total, look for 2-5 inches from late Sunday night through Monday evening, followed by clearing skies and a quick return to dry weather on Tuesday.
Following the storm on Monday, we'll turn over to dry and milder pattern as we head into the second half of the week and into the weekend. Mid-mountain temps will gradually warm each day, with sunny skies and temps in the 30s likely returning for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Looking further ahead, the longer-range models continue to bring "something" through the western US around Monday, March 2nd, followed by an active pattern as we head into the first 10 days of March. We shall see...
