Surprise powder day, up to 14" of new snow

Summary

Snowfall was heavier than expected in the Tetons over the past 24 hours and Jackson Hole is reporting 11-14 inches of new snow on Friday morning. In other words, a welcome surprise powder day! The new snow is low density (6%), so this is great quality snow and enough of it fell to bury old crusts from the dry spell. We'll see only lingering flurries on Friday, then attention turns to Jan 27-31.
