Jackson Hole-Targhee Daily Snow

By Alan Smith, Meteorologist Posted 20 hours ago July 31, 2025
Afternoon Thunderstorms Thursday to Saturday, August is Looking Dry
Summary
Isolated to scattered t-storms will develop on Thu with the peak threat early to mid-afternoon. Similar to yesterday, storms may stay anchored to the higher terrain. On Fri, t-storm activity looks more isolated, while coverage should increase a bit on Sat. Overall, rainfall looks to be light/spotty in this pattern with dry air in the low levels, and that increases the concern for fire ignitions.
