Dry Pattern Continues This Week...

Summary

We have a dry pattern through at least Thursday. We warm up slightly Sunday into Monday and then cool back down by Wednesday with gusty winds. Then we warm back up slightly Thursday before cooling down again next weekend. We could see light snow Saturday. We may see more storms through the first week of March.

Update

Sunday - Thursday:

For Sunday, we will have mostly sunny skies and lighter winds, with highs in the 30s on the mountain.

The dry weather pattern continues through Thursday with mostly sunny skies expected. Highs in the 40s at the base and 30s up top Monday into Tuesday. Then colder Wednesday with highs in the 30s at the base. Then warming back into the 40s at the base and 30s up top Thursday.

We could see some gusty north winds Tuesday into Wednesday with winds of 30-40+ mph from the north/northwest Tuesday, increasing to 60-70+ mph from the north/northeast Wednesday.

Long-Range:

We may remain in the dry pattern through next weekend but with more shots of cold air. We could see another dry cold front move through Friday and Saturday. But right now it looks like the precipitation could stay to our east and we continue to see partly to mostly sunny skies. We will keep an eye on the Saturday front as it could bring a few snow showers.

We may transition to a more active pattern the first week of March per the latest forecast model guidance. But not much confidence in that this far out. We will let you know as soon as storms could return!
