Dry and Cold with a Nor’easter by Sunday

Summary

Light lake-effect snow showers remain in the northern Mid-Atlantic Friday and will weaken by the evening with the coldest air of the season in place. Dry air moves in Saturday ahead of Sunday and Monday’s coastal storm. A two-part storm system will affect the region Sunday through Tuesday. Moderate snow accumulations are looking likely across parts of the south-central and eastern Mid-Atlantic.
