Great Lakes snow Monday and Tuesday

Summary

Lake effect snow showers strengthen throughout Monday and dissipate from the north to the west during the afternoon Tuesday. Total snow accumulations of 3-8 inches are expected around the Great Lakes with possibly higher totals in the northwestern Mid-Atlantic. Dry conditions and cool weather moves in for the remainder of the week.
