Lake effect Friday, Scattered light snow Sunday
Summary
Lake effect and upslope snow showers strengthen throughout Friday and continue until Saturday afternoon around the Great Lakes and higher terrain of the western Mid-Atlantic. Snow accumulations of 1-5 inches are expected with 4-9 inches in the northwestern Mid-Atlantic. A weak storm affects the region Sunday with scattered light snow accumulations north of the Maryland-Pennsylvania border.
