Summary
This week's snow showers have cleared the region with a fresh blanket of 1-4 inches in the northern and western Mid-Atlantic. The next storm system arrives Saturday morning with areas of heavy rain and strong winds. Cold air and a few snow showers move back in late Saturday night and Sunday before next week's big warm-up.
