Lake effect snow weakens throughout Tuesday with additional snow accumulations of 1-2 inches in the northern Mid-Atlantic. The next storm system brings lake effect and upslope snow showers on Thursday and Friday, as the coastal storm stays out to sea. Additional chances of snow are possible next weekend.
