Light Lake Effect With Eyes on the Weekend

Summary

A few lake effect snow showers affect NY on Wednesday, extending to the south through the western Mid-Atlantic on Thursday. Total snow accumulations will be 1-3 inches. The coastal storm on Wednesday and Thursday slides out to sea but our luck turns better for the weekend. There is high confidence that a coastal storm will bring widespread snow accumulations on Saturday and Sunday.
