Montana Daily Snow

Lots of Little Snows go a Long Way...
Summary
While the cold front we expected didn’t carry the strong moisture punch we all thought it would, the front will still deliver anywhere from 3-6” on the West side and 2-4” East of the Continental Divide. Winds could be a factor on exposed ridges with up to 50mph gusts possible on Tuesday into Wednesday morning. The rest of the week looks great for all with a few inches possible each day into the weekend. A warm airmass hits area’s west of the Divide late on Friday afternoon driving up snow levels to around 5000’. The weekend looks to keep light snow in the forecast with a persistent NW flow. Things change late Sunday with the possibility of an arctic airmass encroaching over the Divide (East to West) as well as seeping south into SW areas like Big Sky. We’re watching this very carefully as it has great potential.
