Arctic Air taking its time...

Summary

UPDATED: 2/8/18 @ 3:30PM (MT) Thursday into Thursday night heavy snow will blanket the mountains of Central Montana (East of the Divide) with places like Showdown and Great Divide receiving 12-18” in storm totals through Friday night. Downgraded Whitefish's next 24-hour storm totals due to a unforeseen gap in moisture and the later timing of the arctic air arrival to an optimistic 3-5". This weekend will be mostly sunny with below average temps conserving the excellent conditions across both sides of the Continental Divide.
