Summary

Friday afternoon 48-hour totals are as follows: 12” Whitefish, 7” Big Sky, and 1-4” at Bridger, Lookout, Snowbowl and Showdown. That was the prelude, now the main feature as a potent plume of Pacific moisture plows into mostly Western Montana Friday and Saturday. An additional 1 – 2 feet is likely above 6000’ West of the Divide, with 6 – 12” East of the Divide. Storm #3 is brewing for Monday.
