Significant Snow into the Weekend / Arctic Intrusion Likely Next Week

Summary

A series of winter storm systems will move through the Northern Rockies starting Wednesday and lasting through the weekend. The heaviest snow totals will fall on the mountains west of the Continental Divide with 1 – 2 feet through Sunday. East of the Divide, lesser totals in the 5 – 10” range are likely. Arctic air arrives Sunday bringing cold temps and snow showers throughout early next week.
