Regional Light Snow Thurs/Fri – Spring’s Early Arrival This Weekend

Summary

A Pacific trough of low-pressure has made landfall into Oregon but, unfortunately, will track southward into the desert SW Thurs. The easternmost extension of this trough will bring enough instability for pockets of regional snow showers to develop through Fri AM. Some locations could see 1 – 4”. A strong ridge arrives for the weekend, with record-breaking highs by early next week. Crazy winter.
