Snow Wed PM - Thu / Wet Snow Sat PM - Mon for NW MT

Summary

It was an excellent holiday weekend with widespread heavy snowfall across the Montana Rockies (4-day storm totals below). A brief break on Weds, then a weakening Pacific trough arrives Weds PM, spreading into Thurs. Troughing off the PNW coast this weekend looks to tap into a SW flow that will bring snow levels up to 5000 – 7000’. Several inches of wet snow are likely across NW MT through Mon.
