Montana Daily Snow
By Bob Ambrose, Forecaster Posted 7 years ago December 17, 2016
Cold, Cold, Cold...then Snow, Snow, Snow
Summary
Actually it's too cold as most ski resorts all over Montana are either closed or have limited lower mountain operations today (Saturday) due to extreme frostbite danger. Morning temps of -20 were common, with this afternoon's highs around -5, it's going to be a challenging day to ski or ride. Even with the cold, the skiing, just about everywhere in Montana, is in great shape for this time of year. FYI - as I am writing this forecast it is -27 below outside my home in the Big Hole Valley (this morning's low was -40!).
