Hurray it’s Finally Winter! ;)

Summary

Going over the snow totals since Sunday night…had some big surprises (22” Whitefish) and some big disappointments (3-4” Big Sky). Lookout Pass had 21”, Lost Trail 10” and then Bridger only received an inch. As advertised, West of the Divide got the brunt of the storm but I still thought the storm had enough umph to roll into southwest Montana. It did, just not with as much moisture as expected. The next three days will bring a mix of sun and clouds but no new snow statewide. Friday night into early next week the pattern becomes unsettled again. Saturday looks to be the snowiest day with 4-8” possible on both sides of the Divide.
