Summary
High pressure will continue to build into the Northern Rockies Thursday night and into Friday bringing generally sunny skies and seasonal daytime temps in the lower to upper 30’s across both sides of the Divide during the day on Friday. A weak cold front associated with a somewhat moist southwesterly flow will enter NW Montana Friday afternoon and spread towards the southeast Friday evening, crossing the Divide Saturday morning bringing 2-4” inches at most resorts on the Westside of the Divide by morning. East sider's at Big Sky will see 1-3” overnight with another 2-4” during the day Saturday as the front advances through the SW part of the region. High pressure then re-builds Sunday with mostly sunny skies across both regions.
