Upslope snow showers lingering into Friday will bring an additional few inches to higher elevations. See specific projected snowfall amounts below. Wind will also be a factor with this storm, with peak gusts of 45-50 mph expected. Arctic temperatures will move in behind the storm and will dominate the weekend forecast. Highs will likely not exceed negative values on Saturday for much of northern New England. The chance for more snow remains in the forecast for early next week.
