Major storm but maybe only moderate totals for NM

Summary

A weak system late Tuesday into Wednesday will bring strong winds and a trace to 1-2" of snow, favoring Red River and Taos. Windy but dry conditions Wednesday through Friday. A major storm will cross the state overnight Friday to Sunday. The current track puts the brunt of the snow to our north, leaving New Mexico with modest totals in the 2-8+" range. Still, some deeper totals are possible.
