Wednesday freshies, strong storm Friday

Summary

Snow totals from Monday night to Wednesday early morning range from 2-9". Southwest flow and orographics will bring 1-6" additional snow through Thursday afternoon in between storms. Our next storm starts overnight Thursday and ramps up Friday before winding down on Saturday. Totals will be 4-18+" statewide favoring Ski Apache and Taos Ski Valley. Dry pattern returns January 2nd to the 7th.

Julien was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico and was introduced to skiing at age 7 through the public schools subsidized ski program at Ski Santa Fe. It was love at first turn and Julien has been chasing deep powder and good mogul lines ever since. Julien grew up fascinated by weather and studied physical geography with a focus on meteorology at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff.
