Dry week ahead, and Typhoon Michaung vs El Niño

Summary

High pressure will dominate from December 4th to the 8th. Hopes for the December 9-10 storm continue to fade as all trends push most precipitation to the north of New Mexico. Overall the next 7-10 days look quiet and some of this could be attributed to Typhoon Michaung halfway around the world! We could be looking at a very dry first half of December before a possible pattern shift .
