Update

Snow conditions

Thanks to over four feet of early-season snow, our snowpack is 115% of average and the natural snow depth is about 18 inches on the upper part of the mountain.

Opening Day

Lifts will begin to spin on Wednesday, November 21st! More details.

Friday recap

The final dry and sunny day as temperatures warmed into the mid-to-upper 30s and low 40s.

Snow on Saturday evening

This storm is looking a bit stronger, so the forecast is now for higher totals in the 3-6 inch range. Expect snow to start on Saturday midday with a narrow window of intense snow on Saturday evening, and then snow will end before sunrise on Sunday.

Thanksgiving week

We will have dry weather on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Then a more active weather pattern should move into the western US with three storms possible here in Colorado. The first storm will be around Thanksgiving Day, the second storm should arrive around Saturday, Nov 24th, and the third storm could hit on or around Monday, Nov 26th. These storms might produce powder days shortly after the mountain opens for the season.
