Update

Snow Conditions

5 inches over the past 24 hours and 11 inches over the past 48 hours.

Steamboat's official snow report shows 41 inches so far this season and a base depth of 26 inches. Our internal analysis has the snowpack currently sitting at 109% compared to the 30-year average.

Terrain Update

5 lifts, 20 trails. Latest updates.

Saturday - Saturday Night

Periods of moderate to very heavy snow will continue to fall through Saturday. A sharp cold front will move through Steamboat between 8 am and 10 pm. You'll know when the cold front arrives as there will be very heavy snow, limited visibility, temperatures dropping 10-15F, and possible lift closures.

Saturday will consist of soft snow as storm #2 moves over Colorado but very blustery conditions will be encountered.

In total, look for an additional 4-8 inches through Saturday night. The storm will begin to wind down on Saturday night but cool, northwest flow could keep the snow machine cranking into early Sunday morning.

Sunday

Sunday morning will start in the single digits but this would be my choice for the best turns of the weekend. Temperatures will only top out in the teens so bundle up and enjoy the fresh turns!

Next Week

Dry conditions and sunny skies follow for Monday and Tuesday, with temps climbing back into the 20s.

Our next chance for snow will then arrive during the final days of November. The storm track will remain very active during the second half of next week and we should see our first shot of snow on Wednesday, followed by additional chances from Friday, November 30th through Sunday, December 2nd.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
