Update

Snow Conditions

6 inches over the past 24 hours.

Steamboat's official snow report shows 36 inches so far this season and a base depth of 19 inches. Our internal analysis has the snowpack currently sitting at 98% compared to the 30-year average.

Terrain Update

5 lifts, 20 trails. Latest updates.

Friday

Light snow showers will continue to fall off-and-on on Friday ahead of the second and stronger storm from Friday evening through Saturday night. Highs will top out in the mid-to-upper 20s on Friday with gusty winds out of the west.

Friday Night - Saturday Night

Storm #2 will move into Colorado on Friday evening. Look for periods of moderate to heavy snow through Friday night ahead of a strong cold front and a shift to a west-northwest wind by midday Saturday. Friday night through midday Saturday will be the time to watch the deepest totals.

Look for 8-14 inches from Friday evening through Saturday night but I would not be surprised to see totals exceed the higher end of the forecast by Sunday morning.

Sunday

The storm move will out of the state on Sunday but we could receive a few lingering showers through the first half of the day. Temps will start in the single digits and only rise into the teens so bundle up and enjoy the pow!

Next Week

After cool and dry days on Monday and Tuesday, we should see another weak system track across Colorado on Wednesday. We'll then turn to late next week and into the following weekend for the storminess to continue.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
