Update

Storm is Ending

Wednesday was a fun powder day with 6-9 inches in the morning and an additional 3 inches during the day.

Thursday will be a very cold day with high temperatures near 0F, mostly cloudy skies, and times of light snow showers. The very cold airmass on Thursday contains little moisture, so additional snow accumulations should be minimal. Thursday's snow conditions will be soft in the morning thanks to the snow from Wednesday and an additional 3 inches that I see on the summit snow stake camera on Wednesday night.

Friday & Saturday

We’ll see lots of sunshine both days and high temperatures will be closer to average, topping out in the 20s.

Future Storms

We should see multiple waves of light snow between about Saturday night and Tuesday night. There is still a lot of uncertainty in the details of how much snow and which day might be best.

Then all models continue to advertise a stormy period near or over Colorado around President’s weekend.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
