Update

Snow Monday Morning

Snow began just before sunrise on Monday and we should see 2-4 inches by Monday midday, with a chance for a bit more if a few stronger cells hit the mountain. The softest conditions should be Monday morning, then we’ll see drier, colder, and partly sunny weather during the afternoon.

Tuesday & Wednesday

Expect dry weather both days. Tuesday will be sunnier and cooler with high temperatures in the upper teens to low 20s, and Wednesday will be cloudier with high temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Snow Wednesday night through the weekend

I am confident that we’ll see snow from Wednesday night through the weekend and potentially through early the following week. Due to abundant moisture and the multiple days of snowfall, snow amounts could be 1-2 feet or more.

The first round of snow from Wednesday night through Friday will be accompanied by a lot of wind and warmer air, which could push the snow level up to around the base area. This could mean raindrops at the base, but the majority of the mountain will see snow.

It does look like cooler air will arrive at some point on Saturday or Sunday, so the snow quality could become lighter and fluffier later in the weekend and early next week.

As the variability in the forecast models decreases over the coming days, I’ll provide more details about this upcoming stormy pattern!

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
