Steamboat Daily Snow

Update
Saturday’s weather was wild. We saw additional snowfall (4-5 inches through the day), cold temperatures in the single digits to low teens, and strong winds that gusted to over 40mph. I hope that you enjoyed the soft snow!
Sunday morning’s temperatures will start in the single digits, and we’ll quickly warm into the 20s by midday under blue skies and light wind.
Monday will be dry and mostly sunny with high temperatures in the upper 20s, then we should see more clouds on Monday afternoon and the chance for light snow on Monday night. Snow amounts could be anything from a dusting to 2-3 inches. Conditions could soften a bit on Tuesday morning thanks to this snow, though this is a weak storm so our expectations should be low.
After this weak system, the weather from Tuesday midday through Wednesday afternoon will be dry.
The next storm during this week should bring snow from Wednesday night through Thursday afternoon. While the stronger energy will stay over southern Colorado, we should still see some snow. Models are NOT in agreement, with a few showing just 1-3 inches and others showing totals of 3-6+ inches. We’ll see if the models come into a better agreement during the next few days. Despite the disagreement in snow totals, we are confident in the storm's timing and that the softest snow this week should be on Thursday morning.
Looking further ahead, we’ll likely return to dry weather on Friday and Saturday, and then our next chance for snow will be between about Saturday night through Monday (December 7-9).
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
