Update

Monday was a fun morning with deep powder, though the snow quality was thicker and denser than I expected, perhaps due to wind on Sunday night. No matter, I hope that you enjoyed the freshies!

On Monday and Monday night we saw a little bit of additional snow, and now on Tuesday morning, we are waking up to clear skies and chilly temperatures around 0°F.

For Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday we should see dry weather, mixed sky cover with times of clouds and times of sunshine, and comfortable daytime temperatures with a high around 20°F by early afternoon. There will be a storm moving through northern and eastern Colorado on Wednesday night into Thursday, though right now it appears that we will not see much or any snow accumulation during this time.

Friday should continue our streak of calm weather with sunny skies and warmer temperatures rising into the 30s.

Saturday and Sunday will likely be dry and partly sunny. Expect high temperatures in the low 30s for both days. A storm will be moving through southern Colorado over the weekend and it appears that snow will stay to the south of us. If the storm jogs a bit farther to the north, we could see some flakes.

Looking ahead to next week, we will see a storm arrive around Monday, February 24th and this system should bring snow for a least a few days. It’s good to see that the powder should return soon.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
