Steamboat Daily Snow

Sunny Sunday, then a snowy week
Summary
Sunday will be the final sunny and warm day for a while as we will transition into a colder and stormier weather pattern throughout the upcoming week.
Update
Saturday was a beautiful day with sunny skies and comfortable temperatures in the 20s.
Sunday will be a copy of Saturday with sunny skies and temperatures that are just a bit warmer, topping out around 30°F.
Looking ahead to the week, we are going to see a chance for snow every day from Monday through Friday. Total snowfall during the week will likely get to double-digits, but the storm's track to the south of Colorado will not favor Steamboat with the deepest snow totals.
The first round of snow could fall from Monday midday or afternoon through Tuesday morning. Tuesday could offer 3-6+ inches of new snow. The second round of snow could fall from Tuesday night through Wednesday with another few inches of accumulation and soft conditions on Wednesday. Then Thursday and Friday will be very cold with high temperatures in the single digits and maybe some flurries or light snow showers.
Overall, conditions on Tuesday and Wednesday should be soft and fun thanks to the new snow, but we will likely not see deep powder days unless we get lucky and a few waves of more intense snow happen to hit the mountain – this could occur, but odds are against it.
As we round out the last few days of February and head into early March, we could see times of light snow, though right now I am not seeing any significant storms. Looking far ahead, our next chance for deeper snow totals should be in the March 4-8 time frame.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
