Powder now, and more snow in the forecast

Summary

We'll enjoy fresh turns on Monday morning with two more storms during the next seven days.

Update

Sunday was sunny and warm, then the snow arrived on Sunday night.

We went into Sunday night's storm looking for 3-7 inches of accumulation, and the actual totals are 4 inches at mid-mountain and 6 inches at the summit. So reality matched the forecast range, and it's pretty fun when that happens:-)

Monday morning will start with clouds and lingering snow showers, then we'll see more sunshine during the middle of the day and during the afternoon. Go get the new snow before the sun does!

Tuesday will be dry and warm with highs in the 30s.

On Wednesday, we'll see some snow showers during the day with anything from a dusting to a few inches of new snow. Then on Wednesday night and into Thursday morning, the storm will strengthen over eastern Colorado, and, again we could see anything from a dusting of new snow to a few inches or more. I have very low confidence in the forecast for this storm and hope to dial in the details at some point, but it may take until Wednesday to figure it out.

Friday and Saturday should be dry and comfortable with highs in the 20s.

Then from Sunday, March 20, to Tuesday, March 22, a strong storm could track close enough to Colorado to bring a lot of snow to all mountains. Keep an eye on the forecast for these days as the result might be one or two powder days, especially on Monday and Tuesday, March 21-22.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
