Two storms next week
Summary
Sunday will be dry and a little cooler than Saturday, then we'll see two chances for snow from Monday through Wednesday.
Update
Saturday was a gorgeous day with partly sunny skies and very warm temperatures which climbed to 35°F to 45°F across the mountain.
Now on Sunday morning, the snow stake is dry, though the stake will likely show some new snow during the upcoming week.
Sunday will be another partly sunny day with a high temperature in the 20s to low 30s, and this will be about 5-10°F cooler compared to Saturday's temperature.
Then we will see two potential storms this week.
The first storm could bring snow from later Monday through Tuesday morning. The best chance for deeper snowfall will be well south of the mountain, though the latest forecast data shows that this storm will bring a surge of moisture to all of Colorado and these moisture surges can bring more snow than expected, so it'll be interesting to see if we can sneak out a few inches of snow by Tuesday morning.
The second storm could bring snow from later Tuesday through Wednesday. Once again, the best chance for deeper snowfall will be south and east of the mountain, though again, we could sneak out at least a few inches of snow or maybe more if we get lucky.
For the longer-range forecast, February 16-18 will be dry, then February 19-27 should bring a stormy weather pattern to the western U.S. and the Rockies and this may translate into multiple chances for snow here in Colorado.
