Light snow next week

Summary

Expect dry weather through Monday, then we could see some snow between Monday evening and Wednesday evening.

Update

Friday was a gorgeous day on the hill with sunny skies and a high temperature ranging from the upper-20s to mid-30s.

Saturday will be partly sunny with high clouds filtering the sunshine and a warm high temperature in the 30s.

Sunday will also be partly sunny and the high temperature will be a bit cooler, topping out in the 20s.

Monday will start dry, then from Monday afternoon through Monday night, we could see snow with light accumulations due to a surge of moisture pushed into Colorado from a storm to our southeast.

Tuesday again may start dry, then a stronger storm will bring snow to most of Colorado from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday night. This storm's more southerly track will likely bring just light snow to Steamboat, though I'll watch closely to see if the forecast data changes.

After the midweek system, we should see dry weather from February 16-18, then another stormy week is likely for the western US and the Rockies during the February 19-25 timeframe.
