Final Post of the 2022-2023 Season

Summary

Thanks for reading this season, and best wishes for a wonderful spring, summer, and fall!

Update

I appreciate your readership and support of the Steamboat Daily Snow!

This 2022-2023 season was Steamboat's second snowiest winter with 448 inches of snow. The only season with a greater amount of snow was 2007-2008 with 489 inches (source). These measurements are from mid-mountain.

While the amount of snow was special this season, it was also the consistency of the snowfall that will keep this season top-of-mind as we had a deeper-than-average snowpack from November 1, 2022, through closing day on April 16, 2023, with no long periods of dry weather.

I hope that you have a wonderful spring, summer, and fall, and again, thanks for reading the Steamboat Daily Snow this season!
