The Next 10 Days
Saturday will be another day with sunny skies and cool temperatures. Morning temperatures are colder at the base (near or below 0°F) and warmer on the mountain, and the afternoon high will be in the mid-20s.
Sunday will also be mostly sunny and dry, and the high temperature will be in the upper 20s.
Each day next week will be dry, mostly sunny, and a bit warmer with a high temperature in the low 30s, and the dry weather should last through the weekend of December 7-8.
Our next chances for snow will be around December 9-10 and again around December 13-14. While the storm track may not change significantly through mid-month, both of these storms may track close enough to Colorado to dust us with new snow.
The good news is that we have a solid base, the low sun angle of early December will help to preserve our snowpack, and more terrain should open over the coming days and weeks.
