Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

It’s a powder day at Steamboat with 12 inches falling at mid mountain between Monday late afternoon the 5am on Tuesday morning. I saw about 3-4 inches on the summit powder cam as of 2am, which was about what I thought would accumulate. And then between 2am and 5am the snow came down intensely with another 6 inches falling in only 3 hours. Sometimes it’s hard to explain it, but it’s not hard to ski it, so get out there and enjoy this extra powder!

After another 2-4 or 3-6 inches falls during the day on Tuesday, we should see the snow decrease either Tuesday afternoon or Tuesday night. But don’t fear, because another few inches of snow will return to the forecast on Wednesday night into Thursday, then after dry days on Friday and Saturday, snow could fall most of the days of Christmas week. Great news!
