Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

And that makes nearly two feet of snow in two days. Steamboat is ‘in the zone’ as a moist flow from the west and cold temperatures combine to keep snow flakes falling over the mountains. We could see snow decrease a bit on Wednesday with a few breaks of sun, but also times of additional accumulations. Then the snow should pick up again on Wednesday night and continue through mid-morning on Thursday. I hate to over promise, but another 4-8 inches looks likely by Thursday morning, with more snow through midday. Flurries or light snow showers could actually persist through Friday morning as well. All-in-all, I hope you’re getting after the powder either today or plan to on Thursday morning!

After a break in the snow on Friday afternoon and Saturday, a series of storms will turn the snow machine back on from Sunday through next Thursday. It may not snow hard this entire time, but the flakes will continue to accumulate, and there might be deeper powder days next Wednesday or Thursday. Whoohoo!
