Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

More good news here in Steamboat as snow started up again on Wednesday night and is falling moderately to heavily as I type this around 515am on Thursday morning. We should see at least another 2-3 inches between 5am and about 8am, then the snow should wind down through the morning and the sun should come out this afternoon. But, we’re not done yet, as another weak storm will move over Steamboat on Thursday night, bringing another few inches during the night into Friday morning. That will make fresh snow during seven of the last eight days!

After a dry day on Saturday, a few inches of snow should fall on Sunday, then a continuous stream of moisture from the Pacific Ocean should bring snow each day during the week leading up to Christmas, with the potential for the heaviest snow around Tuesday or Wednesday. This week has been fun, and next week should be snowy and fun as well, and stay tuned for daily updates through the storm cycle!
