Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

There were snowflakes on Christmas Day, but accumulations were slow to materialize. Then as the storm center passed over Steamboat on Saturday evening, snow cranked up and the official report lists 9 new inches for Saturday morning, with much of this falling after lifts closed on Friday. Enjoy the fresh snow on Saturday morning, and dress warm as temperatures will be close to 0F on the mountain when you head out.

We should see at least partly sunny skies on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. High temperatures will be in the single digits at the summit on Saturday, but should warm into the teens and low 20s on Sunday and Monday. Our next chance for light snow will occur on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
