Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Look forward to warmer days on Sunday and Monday with high temperatures reaching into the 20s and 30s at mid mountain. There is a temperature inversion in place where cold air has settled in the lower elevations (near the base) and temperatures are much warmer up on the mountain!

From Monday night through Wednesday I put a bit of snow in the forecast though I think accumulations will be light since the main storm track will be well to our south. Snow accumulations should be a bit heavier from Wednesday night through Thursday or Friday as the storm track moves a bit further north and temperatures cool. Then we could see snow continue through the weekend and into early next week as storms pass near or just north of northern Colorado. While I cannot pinpoint any one day as a powder day, don’t discount how good conditions can get after 5-7 days of consistent light snowfall!
