Steamboat Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 9 years ago March 28, 2016
On Monday, look for partly cloudy skies as our next storm moves toward Colorado from the west. There will be a few snow showers in the area on Monday afternoon and Monday evening, and if one of these showers hits Steamboat, expect a quick 1-2 inches of accumulation.
On Tuesday, the day will start off with clouds and breezy conditions, and then snow should fall heavily during Tuesday afternoon or Tuesday evening as 3-6 inches accumulates in a short period of time. Wednesday will likely be a powder day due to the combination of snowfall late Tuesday afternoon/evening and an additional 3-6 inches of new snow during the day on Wednesday. There may be a break in the action later on Wednesday into Thursday morning, then another round of snow on Thursday into Thursday night should create more powder either late on Thursday or during first chair on Friday morning.
