Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Wednesday was a perfect spring day with full sunshine and temperatures warming into the 30s and 40s. Thursday will largely be a repeat of this perfection with lots of sun and temperatures in the 40s. On Friday, a surge of moisture from the south will cover our skies with clouds, and we could see showers from Friday afternoon closing day on Sunday. Unfortunately the showers will likely come in the form of rain, at least on the lower 1/2 to 2/3rds of the mountain, as temperatures will continue to be warm. Showers will likely not be steady, however, so despite mostly cloudy weather, I think you’ll still have fun celebrating during closing weekend.

In case you’re sticking around after the mountain closes next week, showers will persist on Monday and Tuesday, then we’ll see dry and sunnier weather on Wednesday and Thursday, and then a colder storm should bring snow back to Steamboat next Friday, Saturday, and maybe Sunday (April 15-17).
