Update

Sunday will start out dry and partly sunny, and then a storm to our south will finally arrive with snow starting late on Sunday afternoon and continuing through about midnight on Sunday. Total snowfall should be in the 2-4 inch range, with some upside potential if a heavier shower tracks over Steamboat. The timing of this snow means that the best powder turns will likely be on Monday morning.

Following this system, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday should be mostly dry. Then a cold and stronger storm should arrive on Thursday with snow lingering into Friday and Saturday. Total accumulations should be in the 5-10 inch range, and might be much higher if everything comes together just right. This means that there is powder potential on Thursday, Friday, and perhaps Saturday morning.

Then we will likely see a day or two of drier weather, with snow likely returning for a few days during the week of February 27 to March 3rd.
