Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Update

I'd love to tell you that we'll see a lot of natural snow this week, but that's just not in the cards. We might sneak out an inch or two on Monday night, and could see flurries to a coating of snow on Wednesday night. Aside from these two storms, however, the rest of the week will be dry. The upside of these systems is that temperatures will drop a few degrees, which should allow for more nighttime snowmaking.

Looking further ahead, I have medium confidence that a strong storm will approach Colorado on or around December 3-6. I am not yet sure of the storm's exact track, though it's reasonably likely that some natural snow will fall at Steamboat during this time, and that temperatures will be much cooler which will help with snowmaking efforts.

Stay tuned for daily updates, and thanks for reading!
