Update

Happy Wednesday and dress warmly this morning as the temperature is in the single digits from the base up to the summit. Isn't it great that it feels like winter again with cold temps and natural snow on the ground?

The weather for Wednesday will be partly sunny and likely dry, though a few clouds and flurries could sneak in from a system to our east. Then on Thursday, another slightly stronger system will slide into northern Colorado and this could bring 1-2 inches of light snow on Thursday afternoon and evening.

After that, from Friday, December 8 through Friday, December 15, expect mostly sunny weather during the days with temperatures in the low 30s, and readings that are cool enough for snowmaking at night. This might allow for a bit more terrain to open, though we'll need a few significant storms to open a lot more terrain.

The dry weather pattern will begin to adjust during December 15-20 and there will be a better chance for storms between about December 20-30th. I am keeping a close eye on the long-range outlook and will let you know when I see a reasonable chance for our next significant storm, so stay tuned for daily updates!
