Update

Good Monday morning! We’ll see dry weather with partly-to-mostly cloudy skies as our next storm slowly moves toward Colorado from the west-southwest.

From Monday night through Tuesday night, we might see a few snow showers, though I think most of this time will be dry and any snow accumulation should be minimal.

From Tuesday night through Wednesday midday, we will likely see light snow, and then expect a better chance for more intense snow from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday midday. After that, we may see a brief break in the snow on Thursday afternoon, with flakes returning on Thursday night through midday Friday.

Your best chance to ski fresh powder will be last chair on Wednesday, first chair on Thursday, and first chair on Friday, with total accumulations this week potentially hitting double-digits. My sleeper day is Friday morning because we will have seen snow for the past two days, which will make the slopes soft, and then any snow that falls on Thursday night into Friday morning will ski very well.

Following this week’s storm, expect dry weather from later Friday, January 12th through Wednesday, January 17th, and then a stormier period should begin on or around Thursday, January 18th.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
