Necessary Sick Day...

Summary

Today we have sun and clouds with highs in the 30's on the mountains and 40's at lake level. Winds only gusting to 25 mph. Increasing clouds and wind tonight into Wednesday with highs in the 30's on the mountains and 40's at lake level. Mountain top winds becoming quite strong by Wednesday afternoon hitting 80+ mph. Wednesday evening through Thursday evening a cold storm moves through. This one looks similar to the storm last Thursday. We could see 3-8 inches at lake level Wednesday night and 4-11 inches on the mountains. Behind this storm high temps drop into the 20's Thursday, then 20's on the mountains with 30's at lake level for Friday. We could see snow showers drop several more inches of snow on the mountains Thursday into Thursday night, with clearing skies for Friday. For the weekend high pressure builds in with dry weather and temperatures warming into the 30's on the mountains and 40's at lake level Saturday and 40's for all elevations Sunday. High pressure continues to build in over the region next week which may lead to another prolonged dry spell for at least 2 weeks.
